Finally start Gmsh with:
gmsh t4d.msh
The results then are displayed:
Nothing much to say about these results…
However, if you did not change anything in the t4d.din
file, you might have noticed a bit more files popping up in your folder, namely *.vtk
files.
These files can be opened using your preferred post-processor, and contain intermediate results, generated using the output, every, 5
command.
In this tutorial we are however, going to use VisIt. Once installed, you will be able to open the totality of the files at once, as a “database”. Adding a pseudocolor plot of either temperature or ntemperature and “drawing” this plot, will show you all the intermediate results in a movie-like manner:
